My review for Sheikh & Shake – A decent fast food place to grab a pizza, burgers, and milkshakes. I love the name of the restaurant and their logo as I can see that it is inspired by this beautiful country and the locals.
The food here was not bad at all, as I am usually picky when it comes to fast food places. The funghi pizza was full of cheese, and the mushrooms was delicious. The pizza dough was fluffy and the crust was not too plain.
The spicy crispy chicken meal was tasty, I loved the guacamole that was inside the burger and the hint of spice was delectable. The chicken was definitely crispy and juicy. I liked the fries, but halfway through them, I was wishing I upgraded to the skinny fries as it was oily, and the skinny fries would have made the experience better. Dipping the fries into the sauce that came along with the meal made it a bit better.
The all day breakfast that I had was delicious. The omelette was made wonderfully and the fillings were tasty. It was nice and soft, and the chili peppers mixed into the omelette added that extra fire that I like.
Finally, my milkshake and smoothie was rich and smooth. There was enough of the fruit in each of them so you surely can taste it, and not just drinking a full cup of milk and sugar. It was not overly thick like the typical American milkshake, which is one of the characteristics that makes a milkshake great, so i feel this place should try to make their milkshakes thicker.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 4/5.
I ordered the funghi pizza small for 32DHS, spicy crispy chicken meal for 35DHS, eggs and toast omelette for 25DHS, peanut butter milkshake for 19DHS, and dates and honey smoothie for 19DHS.
The pricing of the food served here is worth it.
The service was excellent as the staff members were outgoing and smiling most of the time. The food was quick to come out.
Finally, the ambience of the restaurant has a generic burger joint atmosphere. The decor is simple and goes along well with their theme.
