My review of Wokyo Noodle Bar – if you love wok fried noodles, you have to come here! You are able to customize your noodles by choosing your own sauce, base, and meat. There are also soups, sides, and dessert to add onto your order of noodles.
The noodles that I had were tasty and filling. The combination that I chose was perfect for me. I loved the Korean chilli sauce that accompanied my rice stick noodles. The prawns were cooked nicely.
The other noodles that I had was delicious as well, but the coconut curry sauce was lacking some of the curry flavours that I am used to. I felt that the ratio between the coconut and curry in the sauce was off.
My laska soup was not as rich and strong in terms of the flavours compared to what I an used to. Again, I feel that the ratio between the coconut and the broth was off, making it more bland than normal.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 4/5.
I ordered the rice stick noodles with prawns and seoul sauce for 40DHS, glass noodles with chicken and bangkok sauce for 36DHS, laksa soup for 38DHS, and the mochi for 10DHS.
The pricing of the customizable noodles here are decent.
The service was organized and the staff was extra quick at taking orders. The food was made quickly with the wok which was a plus.
Finally, the ambience of the restaurant has the “hipster” atmosphere where the decor reminds me of a college dorm room. There is simple furniture with board games and it is a great place to hang out at.
