My review of Yo! Sushi – What a great Japanese sushi belt experience. I loved these when I was visiting Japan and Hong Kong, and it was nice to see it here.
There were a lot of sushi rolls that had different sauces on top such as the siracha mayo, which I loved a whole lot. It was nice for the rolls to have the chili flakes that you usually put in your ramen, instead of the original sesame seeds that is always seen on sushi.
The sashimi here was absolutely fresh tasting, my favourite was the coriander seared tuna. However, the tuna sashimi from the belt tasted strange, probably because it was out on the belt too long.
The chilli ramen soup was so delicious as well, and the soup base was amazing, especially with the extra spice! The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the vegetables were a nice fit.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 4/5.
I ordered the chilli ramen for 22DHS, salmon sashimi for 22DHS, coriander seared tuna for 24DHS, tuna tataki for 24DHS, and the yo roll for 20DHS.
The pricing of the dishes here are good for a Japanese place.
The service that I received here was great, and the staff members were over the top at handling our orders. Our drinks were always topped up and plates were cleared quickly.
The ambience was unique here. This restaurant is located in the Festival City Mall, where the entrance of the restaurant is eye catching and bright. The sushi belt is right in the center of the restaurant, displaying all of their wonderful sushi dishes.
