My review of Mitts & Trays – this is an excellent restaurant to head to if you are looking for fresh organic ingredients in your food and beverages.
The grilled eggplant was delicious. I thought that the flavours were unique and the curry pesto sauce was something that I never had before, so it was very refreshing to try something different.
The kale & walnut salad was absolutely fresh and the colours of this salad was bright, making it more appealing to eat. The arugula, dried cranberries, and the feta cheese were also found in the salad, which was great.
The soup of the day that I had was the credit of mushroom soup, and the soup was creamy, thick, and delicious. The mushroom flavours were all there, and the colour of the soup was actually dark so you can tell that a lot of mushrooms were used.
Finally, the smoked salmon sandwich was definitely my favourite here as the smoked salmon was perfect. I know I’m probably biased because if you have read my blogs for a while now, I’m always raving about the smoked salmon dishes that I eat.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 5/5.
I ordered the grilled eggplant for 48DHS, kale & walnut salad for 56DHS, M&T burrata salad for 60DHS, cream of mushroom soup for 35DHS, smoked salmon sandwich for 56DHS, and the roasted baby taters for 26DHS.
The pricing of the dishes here are normal and great especially for organic ingredients.
The service that I recieved here was very pleasant as the server was very friendly and smiling from ear to ear the whole time. I thought that the food came out quickly, and the same for the beverages.
The ambience is elegant here from the first moment you see it on the outside inside the CityWalk mall. The furniture and decor was beautiful, and the couches were really comfortable, which made my time here more enjoyable.
