My review of Mambo Gourmet Pizza – I love it when a pizza place serves a variety of different dishes to enjoy. This restaurant serves higher quality salads and sandwiches on top of many choices for pizzas, calzones, and pasta than what you usually find at some pizza joints.
The salmon wrap that I had was delicious and tasted fresh. I loved to be able to change the sandwich into a wrap so it was more healthy. The salmon was cooked beautifully and the cream cheese dill was an excellent sauce for the wrap.
I have an obsession with salmon, and that is why I decided to go with the salmon calzone. Even though the smoked salmon started to cook from the heat on the calzone, it was still good.
The truffle pizza was tasty and when I first opened the box, the aroma of the truffle was so strong which was wonderful. The aroma itself wasn’t the only best part of the pizza, the truffle pizza as a whole tasted amazing as well. I loved the simplicity of the toppings so it was not overwhelming my taste buds.
The last item I want to mention is the burrata salad which was excellent. I loved the texture of the burrata and how fresh it tasted. Pairing it with the fresh salad was perfect.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 4.5/5.
I ordered the salmon sandwich with brown wrap for 39DHS, salmon calzone for 47DHS, truffle pizza for 43DHS, burrata salad for 44DHS, mozzarella sticks for 27DHS, and the chocolate fondant for 16DHS.
The pricing of the dishes here are friendly for your wallet when looking for bigger portion sized meals to share.
The service was excellent over the phone as it was easy to place an order with the staff. The food was delivered to my doorstep still hot and appetizing.
