My review of La Maison du Café Najjar – This restaurant just launched their new menu with so many wonderful dishes to choose from.
The dynamite shrimps was creamy and presented nicely in a cocktail glass. The shrimps were covered in a nice golden batter that was not oily at all.
The cheese rolls are my favourite thing to get when I’m at a Lebanese place, and the cheese rolls here were so tasty. The rolls were about the same size as a spring roll, and these rolls were seasoned perfectly. The amount of cheese inside the rolls were great.
Finally, for my main course, I got the grilled hammour which was served on top of a bed of delicious Mexican rice. It automatically came with steamed vegetables on the side which was a good way to add a pop of colour to this dish.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 5/5.
I ordered the dynamite shrimps for 39DHS, cheese roll for 23DHS, grilled hammour for 79DHS, minted lemonade for 30DHS, and the Saudi shake for 35DHS.
The pricing of the dishes served here was affordable, especially for the large portion sizes.
The service that I received here was incredible. I was greeted by the manager, who was very happy to see us. He was very passionate about his job and about this restaurant, which made this place even better.
Our server was wonderful, where she was quick at getting our order. She kept checking in with us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and finished plates were cleared right away.
The ambience of this restaurant was bright with the familiar aroma from the shisha that is offered here. With indoor and outdoor seating, the best seats would be outside with a view of the Burj Khalifa. Located in the heart of downtown Dubai, this place gets super busy, and I could see why.
On Mondays and Saturdays, this restaurant offers ladies night where women get free shisha. On Sundays, there is karaoke night. And every other night, there is a live Lebanese singer on stage.
