My review for Freshii – I love this restaurant for when it comes to healthy food! I lived on this when I was living in Canada and now I am starting to come back to Freshii to start eating healthy again. I loved how fulfilling their bowls were here, in a sense that it kept me full for a long time.
The zen salad was delicious and everything was fresh. I loved the mangoes in this salad as it gave it a sweet and tangy kick. The sesame dressing was subtle and it was great this way as it wasn’t overpowering the salad.
I was amazed at how fragrant the lemongrass soup was. The soup was filled with flavour and it was my favourite. I know where I’ll be ordering from when I have a craving for soup as this was one of the best soups that I have ever had. The soup had noodles, mushrooms, and tomatoes, so this was definitely a fulfilling soup.
The Buddha satay bowl is the dish that I always get when I’m at Freshii. It did not disappoint me at all, the peanut sauce and the noodles were of course my favourite parts, and the fresh vegetables were wonderful.
The spicy Thai burrito was great and the quinoa filling made this burrito even better. This burrito had cabbage, carrots, edamame, and spicy lemongrass sauce so the burrito was crunchy which was really good.
The pangoa bowl was different for me, which was good as I like trying out new flavours. The barbecue sauce was something that I don’t usually go for, but with the brown rice, avocado, cheese, and black beans, it was a tasty bowl.
The acai bowl that I had was amazing. The acai was rich and smooth, and the added bananas, coconut, granola, and Greek yogurt made it so delicious. The portion size of the acai bowl was perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Finally, I want to mention the cocoa energy bites as these small balls were filled with outstanding flavours. I could really taste the cocoa, peanut butter, and the chocolate chips.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 5/5.
I ordered the zen salad for 34DHS, spicy lemongrass soup for 28DHS, Buddha satay bowl for 29DHS, spicy Thai burrito for 31DHS, pangoa bowl for 31DHS, low fat yogurt parfait for 24DHS, acai bowl for 38DHS, and the cocoa energy bites for 11DHS.
The pricing of the dishes here were reasonably priced especially when it was a healthier alternative.
The service that I received here was outstanding where Ruth took great care of us. She was attentive and was great at recommending delicious dishes off the menu. The food and beverages came out to our table at a decent speed.
The ambience of this restaurant was clean and bright with a good amount of tables to sit at to enjoy the food. Located in the Bay Square area, it is definitely a great place to stop by on your lunch break.
