My review of Dusit Thani Friday Brunch – this buffet serves the signature dishes from the three restaurants located on the 24th floor of the hotel. This is a great idea because you can have Italian, Thai, Indian, and Arabic dishes for brunch all in one seating.
My favourites from the buffet were the oysters, sand lobster, sushi, tuna and salmon sashimi, smoked salmon, smoked tuna, Thai glass noodles with shrimp, and the stir fried flat noodles with vegetables.
I stuck around the seafood station for the most part because I am a pescatarian and this was my time to enjoy the fresh seafood. The oysters were perfect and they were very clean. The sand lobsters were perfectly steamed so the meat was still juicy and was easy to peel off from the shell.
There was a large section in the buffet with sushi and sashimi. I loved the presentation of the sushi in the boats and the sashimi was very appealing.
The last couple of dishes that I had were the Thai glass noodles with shrimp and the stir fried flat noodles. The Thai glass noodles were marinated perfectly in the sauce. Finally, the stir fried flat noodles were my favourite where the noodles were tasty and the sauce used was not overpowering at all. Both of these dishes were very authentic which made me so happy.
This café deserves a rating of 4.5/5.

The pricing of the buffet served here was well worth it for the different cuisines you’re exposed to along with the different types of alcohol served.
The service that I received was horrible at first. I was sitting at the Benjarong restaurant where the Benjarong servers were there to get drinks and clear your plates for you. The first server that was attending to us looked like she was not happy to be working and she kept dismissing us when we asked for beverages.
The second server that we had named, Hnin, was much better at serving us where she took the time to ask how we are doing and kept our table clean. She was always smiling and that made our time here at the hotel much more memorable.
The ambience of the buffet set up was impressive. Once you step off the elevator on the 24th floor, you are exposed to the large brunch buffet immediately. The buffet had dishes from the three restaurants located on this floor so there was a variety of different cuisines to enjoy.
