My review for Atelier M – Located on the 7th floor of Pier 7, this restaurant really delivers both amazing views of the marina and excellent tasting food! I came here for the newly launched, “feathers and pearls,” Friday Brunch and it was a great time for me.
The starters that I had in the brunch was fantastic! I had the cucumber and avocado gazpacho, oysters, mushroom takoyaki, and the burrata. Each of these items were small portions so it was great for brunch. I loved the mushroom takoyaki because it was light and fluffy and the mushroom filling was delicious and a nice change from the octopus takoyaki.
For the main courses, I had the marinated prawns and the truffle risotto. The marinated prawns were on skewer sticks with zuchini and green bell peppers. The prawns were marinated nicely and evenly, and they were grilled perfectly. The risotto was much more interesting to me though where it was made in a 36 month aged parmesan wheel. The truffle aroma was wonderful and the flavours were delicious.
The sides for the main courses included in the brunch were sauteed vegetables, creamy potato, and the vegetable fried rice. The vegetable fried rice was interesting where the rice was not oily at all which made it seem healthier to me.
Since I started my weight loss journey, I haven’t been getting dessert at any of the restaurants I’ve visited. All I can say about the dessert options here for the brunch is that there was a small selection of 2 different kinds of cake, strawberries dipped in chocolate, a tart, cookies, and fresh cut fruits.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 4.5/5.
I ordered the brunch with house beverages for 399DHS.
The pricing of the buffet here was great for the higher end food dishes included in the brunch.
The service was good with the servers running around making sure everyone had drinks and food at their table. The drinks were quick to come and the food came out in the perfect amount of time from the open kitchen.
The ambience of this restaurant was stunning with elegant furniture all around. With a rooftop, lounge, and dining indoor along with outdoor seating on the terrace, this was just a spectacular restaurant to dine in. The views of the marina was just so beautiful and you can witness people zip lining on the new XLINE in Dubai. This new old Hollywood themed brunch was cute where the servers were dressed up and the live entertainment was marvelous.
