My review for Mighty Quinn’s BBQ – Calling all barbecue meat lovers, this restaurant has racks of meat just for you.
As a pescatarian, it was a bit difficult for me to order off the menu as this place serves mainly meat. I was invited to have a tasting with my husband for the launch event, so I had to do what I can to have a good experience.
I was glad to see that there were sides that I could get that suited my dietary restrictions. The first item I got was the beetroot salad, which was just a simple salad that only had beetroot vegetables. The beetroot was fresh and did not need any dressing because the natural flavours of the beetroot was already wonderful.
The mac and cheese was good, with a good ratio between the macaroni pasta and the cheese. I loved how this was baked with bread crumbs on top as it made the top layer crispy, which was delicious.
Finally, the sweet potato casserole was my favourite as this was made perfectly. The sweet potatoes were seasoned lightly, and the potato chips on top were the perfect briny balance for the sweet flavours of the potato.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 4/5.
I ordered the beetroot salad for 39DHS, mac and cheese for 39DHS, and the small sweet potato casserole for 25DHS.
The pricing of the dishes here was reasonable for the portion sizes.
The service was great, especially when they were busy during the launch event, so that just showed how hard everyone worked.
The drinks and food came to the table very fast, so that was perfect for my hungry stomach.
The ambience of the restaurant was sleek and modern. Upon entering, the place looked like an upscale deli with simple park style furniture to enjoy your meat.
