My review for Ravioli & Co – My Italian cravings were immediately fixed here with the full Italian menu that this restaurant offers. I am a “carb-aholic” so today was my cheat day from my keto diet and I had to stop by here to devour various pastas and bread. Located in Burj Daman in DIFC, this was a convenient place for me to stop by after my meetings in this area.
The fritto misto was a great starter where there was an assortment of deep fried fritters. I enjoyed the eggplant balls, potato croquettes, and the mozzarella breaded balls the most. The fritters were breaded beautifully with just the right amount of seasoning and filling.
As I’m writing this blog post, and remembering my dinner, I am now wanting a few more of the funghi gratinati as it was so delicious. The baked mushrooms stuffed with breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic, cheese, were stunning mashed up all together where the flavours of each ingredient complimented one another.
My favourite pasta now exists in this restaurant. I will be having a hard time liking another type of pasta from now on as the one I had for dinner was amazing. The tortelloni verde ricotta spinaci, or known as the green tortellini with ricotta and spinach was unique and special. The walnut sauce was the cherry on top as it gave a nice crunchy texture to balance the soft tortellini pasta.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 4.5/5.
I ordered the fritto misto for 63DHS, funghi gratinati for 75DHS, la burrata for 85DHS, tortelloni verdi ricotta spinaci for 83DHS, and the risotto di mare for 125DHS.
The pricing of the dishes here was reasonable for Italian cuisine. The portion sizes are on the smaller side but the quality made up for it.
The service that I received was marvelous where our server was going above and beyond to ensure that we were having a good time. He brought out the food in a timely matter.
The manager, Cristiano, was kind enough to greet us during our visit. He was ecstatic to have us there and took our feedback positively.
The ambience of the restaurant was charming from the moment we approached it. The white on white colours with the gorgeous greenery was very pleasant on the eyes.
We chose to sit outside while the weather is still good and the minimal views of the DIFC scenery was refreshing.
