Bazxar – Dubai

My review for Bazxar – this restaurant is unique and offers a variety of different flavours from the four kitchens which includes, Western, Asian, Mediterranean, and Italian cuisines. I was impressed with everything here from the moment I entered the restaurant to the moment I was finishing my lovely dessert.

The dynamite shrimp was great and the flavours were wonderful. I loved how the sauce was not overpowering the prawns and the portion size was great for a starter.

I am in love with the aroma and flavours of truffle and it was interesting for it to be on the burrata. The burrata was served differently here, which was a nice change with the greens being on top and the star was definitely the burrata.

The wok stir fried noodles with tofu and vegetables were so good. I enjoyed the Asian flavours in this dish. The noodles were the flat and thick kind, which I would have to say that it is my favourite type of noodles. The tofu and vegetables were cooked perfectly.

The baos here definitely met the expectations that I had after hearing all of the hype about them. The miso eggplant was my favourite as the sauce was delicious and the eggplant was nice and soft. The crunch of the tortilla chip inside the bao balanced the soft texture nicely.

Finally, the skillet cookie dessert finished off my meal nicely. The cookie tasted great this way, and there was a perfect amount of ice cream so the flavours of the cookie were not hidden.

This restaurant deserves a rating of 5/5.

I ordered the dynamite shrimp for 78DHS, guac & chips for 55DHS, burrata with truffle for 78DHS, stir fried noodles with tofu & vegetables for 58DHS, miso eggplant bao for 40DHS, char sui tofu bao for 38DHS, skillet cookie with vanilla ice cream for 50DHS, and the mango milkshake for 45DHS.

The pricing of the dishes here was normal for a high end place.

The service that I recieved here was excellent with our server being friendly and positive throughout the whole dinner experience. The beverages and food came out in a good amount of time.

The ambience was unique and fits the scene in the DIFC area. The restaurant is divided with 4 different kitchens serving 4 different cuisines. The decor was beautiful and I loved the different themes.
