My review of VII Terrace Bar and Lounge – I literally felt like I was in a secret garden when I stepped into the stunning terrace. I was obsessed with everything that this place had to offer which included the drinks, amazing sushi, and the live entertainment from the local band, Bass Mic.
The pan seared scallops were so beautiful to look at. I loved the added raspberry on top to add that pop of colour on the scallops. The scallops were seared perfectly, and they were so delicious.
I enjoyed the mushroom risotto with truffle as the aroma itself was already so good. I thought that it was rich and creamy and the mushrooms were very earthy.
The sashimi and sushi dishes were amazing! The chef did a real good job at mastering these rolls as each one was unique and appealing. The sakke sashimi was sliced into thick pieces which was the way I like it.
My favourite roll was the baked hotate ebi roll as this was creamy and fresh. The combination of the ebi and hotate flavours were surprising in a good way.
This bar and lounge deserves a rating of 5/5.
I ordered the pan seared scallops for 90DHS, wild mushroom risotto with truffle for 135DHS, sakke sashimi for 65DHS, vii special roll for 85DHS, and the baked hotate ebi roll for 85DHS.
The pricing of the dishes and drinks here was what you would expect at a high end lounge setting.
The service that I received here was incredible with our server being super attentive. She was able to memorize our order and kept a positive attitude throughout our time here.
We had the opportunity to meet the owner of this beautiful place and she was lovely. She made us feel very welcomed and made our time here that much more enjoyable.
The ambience of this restaurant was so gorgeous and I loved how it was instaworthy all over. Upon entering, you are exposed to the lounge with beautiful chandeliers hanging overhead. The nightclub is next and it was huge!
Finally, we made it to the terrace bar and lounge where the entrance caught my eye where it had such a green earthy feel with the green plants, the gorilla, and the green grass throne.
Once I entered the terrace, the leafy canopy made it feel like I entered a magical garden. I loved the picture frames at the back and the elegant sofas to lounge on. I decided that I also wanted to eat so I sat at the table in front of the amazing live band.
