My review for Fogo de Chao – DIFC now has a restaurant that serves 10 cuts of Brazilian meat along with an amazing salad bar and a la carte menu. Situated on the top level of the Central Park Towers, the entrance, outdoor seating, and indoor seating was stunning with a clear view of the Burj Khalifa.
This restaurant was not ideal for me as I do only eat seafood, but I was happy with the extensive choices at the salad buffet bar and the two different seafood main courses offered in the a la carte menu.
My favourites from the market table (salad bar), were the smoked salmon and the Brazilian kale and arugula salad. The smoked salmon was seasoned lightly and was just right for my taste buds. I thought that the kale and arugula salad went so well with the smoked salmon, and it was so green and fresh.
The pan seared salmon was what I chose for my main course, but I did I have trouble choosing between this and the other seafood item, the mango chilean seabass, because they both sounded so delicious. I was happy with my choice to go with the salmon as the salmon was sitting on a bed of beautiful grilled asparagus and chimichurri. The salmon was a little bit over for my liking, so if it was seared in a less amount of time, it would have been perfect.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 4/5.
I ordered the pan seared salmon, which includes the market table for 149DHS, and the world cup package 4 with five classic caipirinhas for 189DHS.
The pricing of the dishes here was just right for fine dining steakhouse.
The service that I received here was perfect from the moment we entered the restaurant. The hostess greeted us with a bright smile and was ready to seat us.
Once we sat at the table, the server came immediately to explain the concept of the restaurant and the meats that are offered here. She then asked if any of us have any dietary restrictions, which was so nice of her as I usually have to explain myself ahead of time. With my pescatarian lifestyle in mind, she showed me the two seafood choices off the menu and described each one in detail.
The table side meat cuts came fast to the table, which made my guests happy as the meat went well with the different salad starters from the market station.
The ambience of this restaurant was gorgeous from the moment I laid eyes on the entrance. The entrance was very welcoming and it made me super excited to step foot inside. Once inside, the restaurant was bright and was properly decorated for the World Cup. With many tables, this place was definitely huge. We sat along the windows, where you can clearly see the Burj Khalifa and had easy access to the salad bar, which was located in the middle of the restaurant.
