My review for Iris Dubai – I am always ecstatic when I come across a restaurant that both has a large seafood menu for my pescatarian diet and a beautiful ambience to match my style. This restaurant was very memorable and I was obsessed with every dish that I ordered as the flavours were unique with a twist.
I absolutely adored the steamed shrimp dumplings because the filling was so good. The filling consisted of shrimp, ricotta, marscapone, and creamy lemon sauce which was divine!
The presentation of the Peruvian spicy tuna was beautiful. I found the spicy tuna fresh and absolutely delicious. It was a mild spice flavour so this is a great dish for anyone who enjoys mild spices. I loved how it was placed on top of crispy potatoes, which were so tasty.
The grilled jumbo prawn noodles were lovely. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the flavours were all there. I enjoyed the hints of heat that you would usually find in a Thai dish.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 5/5.
I ordered the steamed shrimp dumplings for 75DHS, Peruvian spicy tuna for 80DHS, grilled jumbo prawn thai noodles for 185DHS, and the shrimp tempura roll for 75DHS.
The pricing of the dishes here was decent for the amount of seafood that was in each dish.
The service that I received here was fast and easy where the server was very attentive to our table. I was impressed because the place was packed and it was super busy but the service was excellent throughout the whole night.
The ambience of this restaurant was beautiful and we were sitting on the rooftop outside. The decor and furniture was funky and I just loved that because the vibe of this restaurant was so energenic. This restaurant is located in the Oberoi Hotel.
